TiviMate alternatives in 2026: what each player does, with prices
Four players read the same IPTV logins. They differ in what they cost, what the free version keeps, and what they do on top of playing channels. Here is each one, in facts.
If you are looking at TiviMate alternatives, you already have the hard part: a provider and a login. Every player below reads an Xtream Codes login or an M3U playlist, so moving between them does not touch your subscription. What changes is the price, what the free version keeps, and what the player does beyond showing a channel list.
A note on sources. TiviDeck’s details are what our app does today. TIVRA’s come from tivratv.com and its roadmap. TiviMate’s and IPTV Smarters Pro’s come from TIVRA’s own comparison pages, because those are the published side-by-sides we could cite. All of it is as of October 2026, in US dollars.

TiviMate
TiviMate is the player the others are usually measured against, so it is worth being fair about it. TIVRA’s roundup of IPTV apps calls it “the reference for customisation”. According to TIVRA’s TiviMate comparison, it is free with limitations, and its paid tier is $19.99 a year or a lifetime option. That same page lists catch-up, recording and multi-view as premium features, support for up to five playlists on premium, and Stalker portal support. It does not list cloud sync, a web dashboard or a media server library. TIVRA’s roundup of IPTV apps lists no sports scores for it.
TIVRA
TIVRA describes itself as built for TV first. Its home page lists a 7-day trial, then $9.99 a year for one device, $19.99 a year for five, or $29.99 once for five. It lists multi-view up to eight channels, pause and rewind, recordings to internal storage, USB or a NAS, Jellyfin, Emby and NAS libraries, a web dashboard for setting up the TV from a phone, cloud sync, and a Sports Hub with standings, box scores and the option to hide scores.
Two things are worth reading closely. The league count differs between its pages: 14 on the home page, 42 in its app roundup. And several features are on its roadmap rather than in the app: your own XMLTV guide is listed as planned, profiles as exploring, and a parental PIN with blocked categories as next in queue. TIVRA is live on Google Play.
IPTV Smarters Pro
Smarters is the free option. TIVRA’s Smarters comparison says it is free to install with ads in the standard build, supports M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker portals, has catch-up when the provider exposes it, limited recording, and multi-view in some builds. It also runs on iOS and Apple TV, which none of the other three do. That page lists no cloud sync, no web setup and no media server library.
TiviDeck
TiviDeck is the player this site is about, so here is exactly what it is. It runs on Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Android phones. Every new household gets seven days of Premium. After that, Basic stays free for good: one provider, its own guide, one profile, live TV, films, series and search, with short local spots before on-demand titles.
Premium is paid once: $9.99 for two devices (Personal) or $14.99 for five (Family), and Personal moves up to Family for $4.99. Family can add devices at $2.99 each, up to ten. TVs and phones both count.
What Premium adds:
- Every provider at once: Xtream Codes, M3U, Stalker portals, Jellyfin and Emby servers and NAS (SMB) shares, on the TV and the phone, plus your own XMLTV guide beside your provider’s.
- Pause, rewind and catch-up, and recordings with series rules.
- Multi-view up to eight channels, in a grid or floating, as many as your box can draw.
- Profiles for adults, teens and children, a kids’ world with bedtimes and allowances, and one parental PIN across every TV and phone.
- The Sports Hub: 16 sports and more than 350 leagues, a drawn court or field for each game, which of your channels has it, kickoff alerts that open the channel, a live world map, and the Caveman Room, one chat room per game.
- Films kept on the box, sync of profiles, favorites, lists and Continue watching across the household, and a separate phone app designed for the phone.
Where TiviDeck is behind
Being honest about this saves you a reinstall. TIVRA and TiviDeck are both live on Google Play; TiviDeck’s Enhanced edition also installs from tivideck.com/get or with Downloader at tivideck.com/get/tv. And if anyone in your house uses an iPhone or Apple TV, only Smarters runs there; TiviDeck versions for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and Windows are in the works, with no dates yet.
How to choose
- If you want free and nothing else: TiviDeck’s Basic and Smarters are both free. Basic shows short local spots before on-demand titles; per TIVRA, Smarters shows banner and interstitial ads.
- If you watch sports: count leagues and check which of your channels the player can match. See how channel matching works.
- If children use the TV: look for parental controls that are in the app now, not on a roadmap. See what good parental controls for IPTV look like.
- If you watch several games at once: every player is limited by the box. Here is why.
Switching takes five minutes
Install TiviDeck, open Settings › Playlists › Playlists › Add a source, and enter the same login your current player uses. Choose whether to load live TV, films and series, and the seven days start. Close the old player on that box while you try it, because most providers count each open player as a connection. The help center has every step.
Try it on your own provider
Seven days of Premium, then Basic stays free, or a plan from $9.99 once, for life.
